Odessa Museum of Regional History

This museum is situated in the focal point of the city, in the palatial chateau at 4 Gavannaya Street.

The house was worked in 1876 by Odessa designer, Felix Gonsiorovskiy, for one of the significant agents of the modern and business first class, Alexander Yakovlevich Novikov.

Novikov was the grandson of Odessa dealer, Ilya Novikov, proprietor of a link production line that was established in 1806.

The engineering of the two-story house, as in past works of Felix Gonsiorovskiy, depends on the style of the late Renaissance, with a iety of examples and are drawn from the design legacy of Italy.

The historical center's accumulation incorporates around 120,000 shows and is viewed as truly outstanding in Ukraine.
