About Yivli Minare

It is most specific memorable point is the Yivli Minare worked by the Seljuk sultan Alaeddin Keykubad 1219-36.

The minaret is a run of the mill case of Seljuk design, with a square base surmounted by an octagonal drum bearing the fluted shaft, with its corbelled display around the best.

The appended fourteenth century mosque is still being used today.

The minaret is appropriate next to the Kale entrance door into the old city. Inverse the minaret is Antalya's Ottoman time clock tower, while close-by are sometombs dating from the fourteenth century.
