Sile Feneri

The Sile Feneri,is a historical lighthouse still being used, is situated on the western Black Sea drift in the upper east town Sile of Istanbul Province, Turkey. The brick work beacon is based on a cliffy point at Cape ?ile around 1 km 0.62 mi upper east of the town. The 19 m 62 ft tower with a display around the lamp room has the type of an octagonal crystal. A stone work one-story attendant's home is appended to it. The beacon is painted white with limited dark even groups.

The lighthouse was lit by lamp fuel, anyway the light source was later supplanted by Dalen light utilizing carbide. Since 1968, it keeps running on power.
