About Port of Alicante

The Port of Alicante is a seaport in Alicante, Spain on the Mediterranean Sea used for industrial and passenger visitors. The port is run by using the Port Authority of Alicante. The port has been reinventing itself since the business decline the city suffered within the 1980s with most mercantile visitors misplaced in favour of Valencia's harbour. In current years, the Port Authority has mounted it as one of the most important ports in Spain for cruises, with 72 calls to port made by means of cruises in 2007, bringing a few 80,000 cruise passengers and 30,000 crew to the city every year. This Special Plan for the Port of 1992 accepted, the expansion of the port toward the south, in parallel to the coast and aspect-by using-aspect to the residential neighbourhoods of the south of the city,
