Parque de la Mitjana

The Mitjana Park is a green area of the town of Lerida where small lakes and forests are focused. It is located to the northeast of the metropolis and alongside the course of the Segre River, upstream of the dam of the Seros channel. It has picnic areas, pier location and pedestrian bridges that move the Segre River. In 1979 it was d a place of natural hobby and has a place of 90 ha.

The flowers and fauna correspond to the riparian woodland typology. Park is a place of herbal, semi-herbal or planted area set apart for human amusement and pastime or for the protection of flora and fauna or herbal habitats. It may consist of grassy regions, rocks, soil and trees, however may include homes and other artifacts consisting of monuments, fountains or playground structures. The largest parks may be massive herbal areas of hundreds of heaps of seventy meters.
