Hospital de Sant Joan Reus

The Hospital de Sant Joan is a collection of buildings made up of elements from different periods and a succession of patios and gardens located in Carrer de Sant Joan , in the municipality of Reus and which is part of the Heritage Inventory Architectural of Catalonia. The building has a central body, two side courtyards and two wings in the form of a ground floor, two floors, and on the rear façade gallery run in double height with succession of arches and garden.

The main facade has a symmetrical composition from seven openings, with double line semipilars and a system of cornices at the level of the first and third floors. A central fronton ends the entire set. The side wings have the same composition. The roof is made of Arab roof tile on two sides. The walls are plastered and with stone elements in the windows, corners and cornices. It also presents woodwork. In the interior it is conserved almost equal, the rehabilitated cloister of the old convent of San Juan.
