It is situated in Toledo, Spain. It commends the mannerist painter El Greco, who spent a lot of his life in Toledo, having been conceived in Fodele, Crete. It comprises of two structures: a sixteenth century house with a patio, and an augmentation dating from the mid twentieth century. The two offer a garden. The exhibition hall houses ious works by El Greco, particularly from this splendid painter's last period, and in addition canvases by other seventeenth century Spanish painters, furniture from a similar time and stoneware from Talavera de la Reina.
