About Cies Islands

It is an archipelago off the shore of Pontevedra in Galicia Spain, in the mouth of the Ria de Vigo.

They have a place with the area of San Francisco de Afora, in the district of Vigo. In summer, water crafts interface Monteagudo with the ports of Vigo, Baiona and Cangas.

There is an outdoors territory however consents must be held at the Vigo port.

A market, a guest focus and an eatery cook for guests. There are no waste canisters on the islands. Guests are required to take their litter back to the terrain.

The Cíes Islands are made out of nine shorelines with fine white sand and clear waters.

In February 2007 the British daily paper The Guardian picked the shoreline of Rodas, on the island of Monteagudo, as "the best shoreline on the planet." "Galegos come here to spend long, languid summer days on the Praia das Rodas, an ideal bow of delicate, pale sand sponsored by little hills shielding a quiet tidal pond of completely clear ocean", says the magazine.
