About Palace of the Stock Exchange
Porto's old stock exchange was worked close by the Church of São Francisco after its homes burnt in the midst of the Siege of Porto in 1832.
The outside was finished by 1850 and has a Neoclassical arrangement, while the blended inner parts were upgraded up to the start of the twentieth century.
You have to go in to get a handle on the abundance of the model, adorning carvings, plasterwork, frescos, gem installations and tiles.
The stuccoed Moorish Revival Salão Árabe is generally overwhelming, while the astonishing Pátio das Nações yard is lit by an octagonal metal and glass housetop.
