Warsaws Castle Square

Warsaw's Castle Square is a historic square in front of the Royal Castle – the former official residence of Polish monarchs – located in Warsaw, Poland. It is a mainstream meeting place for visitors and local people. The Square in a pretty much triangular shape includes the point of interest Sigismund's Column toward the south-west, and is encompassed by memorable townhouses. It denotes the start of the clamoring Royal Route stretching out toward the south. The segment honoring King Sigismund III Vasa a work by Clemente Molli, raised in 1644 is the most established and one of the representative landmarks of the city.

On the east side of the square stands the Royal Castle reproduced after the pulverization of World War II. It was in the past the living arrangement of the dukes of Mazovia, and after that of the Polish lords and terrific dukes of Lithuania from the sixteenth to eighteenth hundreds of years.
