About Botanic Garden of the Jagiellonian University

The Botanical Garden of the Jagiellonian University is arranged near the core of Kraków, a ten-minute stroll from the Main Market Square and the Main Railway Station. It is Poland's most established professional flowerbed, as it has been available for almost 250 years since 1783.

Other than the strolling territory with a little lake and paths running among trees and bushes, it highlights nurseries. The most seasoned is "Victoria", whose name originates from the Victoria amazonica water lilies developed there.

The "Celebration" palm house and the complex of tropical nurseries let the guest respect an accumulation of around 50 types of palms, flesh-eating plants, tropical cultivable plants, scriptural plants, and Poland's most established gathering of sago palms.

Fans of the mountains are welcome to appreciate the verdure of the Alps, Carpathians, and the Caucasus.

The biggest segment of the Kraków cultivate is the arboretum, which accumulates more than 1000 types of trees and bushes.
