About Ogrodzieniec Castle

Ogrodzieniec Castle was initially worked in the Gothic style in the fourteenth century, and possession has since gone through a few families. The structure was supplanted by a Renaissance-style stronghold in the mid-sixteenth century, however, was then harmed by Swedish troops on a few events and was in the end deserted as a living arrangement in 1810.
The manor's possession was inevitably nationalized after World War II, and it was completely reestablished and opened to guests in 1973. Situated on Castle Mountain, the most noteworthy slope in the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland, Ogrodzieniec offers stunning perspectives of the encompassing region.
It is a stop on the Trail of the Eagle's Nests, a checked trail amongst Krakow and Czestochowa interfacing 25 medieval chateaux, and has been utilized as a set for a few motion pictures and network shows. Local people assert that the mansion is spooky by a huge dark canine that is said to be the soul of previous proprietor, the Castellan of Krakow, Stanislaw Warszycki.
