Kampinos National Park

Kampinos National Park is a National Park in east-central Poland, in Masovian Voivodeship, on the north-west outskirts of Warsaw. It has a sister park concurrence with Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Indiana, United States. Creating a recreation center here showed up without precedent for the 1920s. In the 1930s the main backwoods holds were opened: Granica, Sierakow and Zamczysko. Today, these stores are considerably bigger and are entirely ensured. The recreation center was made in 1959, covering an aggregate territory of 407 square kilometers 157 sq mi. It covers the antiquated Kampinos Forest Puszcza Kampinoska, and in January 2000 the zone was added to UNESCO's rundown of biosphere holds.

The Park is currently marginally littler than initially, covering 385.44 square kilometers 148.82 sq mi, of which 46.38 km² is entirely secured. The defensive zone around the Park covers 377.56 km². Timberlands represent around 70% of the recreation center's territory, and the most well-known tree is the pine. The Park's image is the moose. Kampinoski National Park is situated at the greatest waterway intersection in Poland - here valleys of Vistula, Bug, Narew, Wkra and Bzura get together. There are no lakes, the greatest waterway of the Park, a tributary to the Bzura, which goes about as a water trench.
