About Bab Mansour Laleuj

Bab Mansour was actually the last important construction project ordered by Sultan Moulay Ismail. Behind the great masterpiece, the architect Mansur Lalez whose name was translated into Vijayi Renegadeo, was converted to Islam, which wanted to climb in the court of Sultan. Bab Mansour is famous for his incredible architecture around the world, had to pay tribute to Sultan, there was a lot of emphasis on decorative details of the gate. Baba Mansur is thus adorned with green and white Zilla tiles and engraved coronal panels, all of which have been unfortunately faded with age.

Visitors can still admire. Alternately concave and convex ceramic designs that decorate the maximum part of the gate and create wonderful illusions of complex embroidered fabric. The wooden entrance, which is 16 meters long and 8 meters wide, is no longer in use, but visitors can use small side doors. Enter the Medina. Baba Mansoor has attracted many visitors in the past few years, but none has been able to explain the gesture as the French novelist Pierre Loti is seen as 1850-1923, who once made it an attractive, shining, was described in the form of priceless tapestry which was placed on these ancient stones to remove the monotony of these minarets.
