About Bou Inania Madrasa

Bou Inania Madrasa is a seminary Islamic education center in the city of Mackness of Morocco. Contrary to suggesting the name, it was not established by the Marinid ruler Abu Inan Faris, but in 1341, it was established in the form of a marble plaque on the entrance by his father, Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Othman, and this It would appear that this name was given at a later date. There is also another seminary of this name in the city of Fes. Madrasa is considered one of the best monuments which Marinids has left. This is the miracle of Islamic architecture.

There are wonderful decor with columns of carved ornaments written in columns and doors. The monument has a prayer hall, living space, classrooms and a large patio. Famous Bu Inania Madrasa, and by the time of his death, there were at least one seminary in every major city of the Marinid Empire. The additional library was set up in 1349 for the Madarsa of Al Qawaroin, in which there is a large selection of the valor. Manuscripts dating back to the medieval era. The largest seminary in Madina was Shiratin Madarasa, commissioned by the Alliant Sultan Al-Rashid in 1670, which is the only non-meridian foundation besides the Madarsa of Al Qawaroin.
