About Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is, with a length of right around four kilometers, the world's longest suspension connect. Opened in 1998, it traverses the Akashi Strait Akashi Kaikyo amongst Kobe and Awaji Island and is a piece of the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway, one of three turnpikes which interface Honshu with Shikoku.

The Bridge Exhibition Center at the foot of the Kobe side of the extension gives top notch data about the arranging and development of the scaffold and about other suspension connects the world over, in spite of the fact that the itemized clarifications are accessible in Japanese as it were.
