About Museo Civico Craveri di Storia Naturale

Craveri Museum is the most important Museum of Natural History of the province of Cuneo and was founded as a private collection in the mid-800 by the lawyer of Braido Angelo Craveri and his sons Federico and Ettore.
 Donated to the Municipality of Bra to the death of Federico 1890, currently the exhibition areas are: on the ground floor the Craveri Room and two Halls of Earth Sciences. 
The first floor is dedicated to Zoology and presents two Invertebrate Halls the Hall of Pisces, Amphibians and Reptiles and two Halls of Birds. 
The second floor hosts the Exhibition on Tenerè in the Sala della Preistoria Sahariana, the Sala degli Habitat del Braidese, the Ancient Hall of the Ornithological Collections and the Room of Meteorology. The Museum also houses a well-stocked Multimedia Scientific Library, a modern Laboratory of Ecology, where it is possible to carry out numerous didactic experiences, the Didactic Biological Garden and the succulent Greenhouse.
