About House of the Tragic Poet

The House of the Tragic Poet is a Roman house in Pompeii, Italy dating to the second century BCE. The house, or estate, is popular for its detailed mosaic floors and frescoes portraying scenes from Greek mythology.Discovered in November 1824 by the paleontologist Antonio Bonucci, the House of the Tragic Poet has intrigued researchers and authors for ages. In spite of the fact that the measure of the house itself is not the slightest bit momentous, its inside embellishments are ious as well as of the most elevated quality among different frescoes and mosaics from old Pompeii.

In view of the crisscross between the measure of the house and the nature of its improvement, much has been pondered about the lives of the mortgage holders. Tragically, little is thought about the relatives, who were likely murdered by the emission of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.Traditionally, Pompeii is geologically separated into nine territorial territories, which are then additionally separated into isolated zones.
