About Campo de Fiori

It is also known as “field of flower”. It is situated in Rome,Italy which is a rectangular square south at the outskirt between rione Parione and rione Regola.

The loaction of campo de fiori is slantingly southeast of the Palazzo della Cancelleria and one square upper east of the Palazzo Farnese.

The name dates to the Middle Ages when the territory was a meadow.

In Ancient Rome, the zone was unused space between Pompey's Theater and the surge inclined Tiber.
