Archiginnasio

Recorded as a standout amongst the most important buildings in Bologna, the Archiginnasio was at one time the main buildings of the University of Bologna and now houses the popular Anatomical Theater. This fabulous building was made in the sixteenth century and is situated on the Piazza Galvani.

As a bit of historical architecture, the Achiginnasio is fabulous in its own particular right, yet the Anatomical Theater is without a doubt the centre piece. Made totally in wood, this little room has a massive measure of wood framing and carved statues of renowned medical experts. Besides, in the centre of the room encompassed via seating stages lies an ornate anatomical table. This is where university students would have learnt about the human life systems and watched dissections and demonstrations of surgery and so forth.
