This Greek Orthodox Church was most likely the main Christian place of love worked in Acre amid the Turkish Period.
The primary confirmation of the presence of a Greek Orthodox religious community and church in Acre going back to the Ottoman Period is apparently that of Minurite priest Eugene Roger, who went to the city in 1631.
Thirty after five years, doctor Gabriel Bremond of Marseilles went by Acre. Bremond announced that the Greek Orthodox Church, which was once 1666 named after St. Nicholas and redesigned by Father El-Din, had turned into the most lovely church in the Levant.
