Templars Tunnel

The passage is 350 meters in length and it reaches out from the Templars post in the west to the city's port in the east.

It crosses Pisan quarter and before, filled in as a key underground way that associated the royal residence to the port.

The lower some portion of the passage is cut in the normal stone and its upper part is made of slashed stones secured with a semi-hurtle arch.

The passage was found in 1994. The Acre Development Company, in a joint effort with the Antiquities Authority, cleaned up the earth and made the passage accessible to guests.
