Zojila Pass

This pass is an important link between Ladakh and Kashmir. The snow-clad mountains will make anyone go in awe. Earlier this pass was captured by the Pakistanis but later in India went on a war and took it back.

T he war has increased the influx of tourists as it is the highest land in which a war has taken place and tanks were taken to such a highland. 

Zoji la pass is 9 km away from Sonamarg and the altitude is 11,500 ft. above the sea level. This pass lies between Kashmir and Dras. The Dras valley is a beautiful grassland and the pass is covered with snow.
