About Uyyakondan Thirumalai Temple

The Temple is situated on a stone around 30 meters 98 ft. tall and is encompassed by rock dividers. The sanctuary complex spreads four sections of land. The sanctuary is drawn closer by a flight of 100 stages from the storm cellar that houses the sanctuary tank. It is maada kovil design, the whole sanctuary barring the external prakara region is situated on a raised stage.

There are three passages – two confronting south and the other confronting east. At the lower regions, the places of worship of Lord Ganesha and Subramanya-Valli-Devasena are found. The sanctuary of Vinayagar is situated in a cut in the initial ten stages and alternate sanctums are situated on the hillock. After the armada of few stages, you can go into the sanctuary through a little sanctuary tower. The entire sanctuary is invigorated and another sanctuary tank is situated inside the stronghold.
