The Kodayar River makes its drop at Thiruparappu. The water fall at this place is around 13 km from Pechiparai Dam. The stream bed is rough and around 300 feet long. The water tumbles from a tallness of almost 50 feet and the water streams for around seven months for every year. On either side of the stream, on the left bank of the waterway in the middle of the waterfalls and the weir, there is a sanctuary devoted to Shiva encased by solid stronghold. The District Administration has as of late developed a swimming pool which is exceptionally well known among the kids. Other more tranquil waterfalls around there are Vattaparai Falls and Kalikesam falls.
