About The Golden Temple

The Golden Temple, one of the celebrated sanctuaries of the Tabo Monastery complex, gets its name from the legend. It is trusted that the whole sanctuary was made utilizing unadulterated gold. In the sixteenth century, the sanctuary was remodeled by Sengge Namgyal, a lord of Ladakh. It is presently well known for its lovely paintings that cover its dividers and ceilings.
