Thajiwas Glacier

This place is a place full of surprise for trekkers and adventure seekers. It is also considered an asset for Jammu and Kashmir. To look at the actual beauty of the place one must trek from Sonamarg till the glacier. 

This glacier is not so far from Sonamarg town and is located only 7km away. if you want to see the real beauty than you should trek from Sonamarg and experience the frozen lake on top which is surrounded by the lush green vegetation. 

The glacier is surrounded by alpine trees and there are many small and big waterfalls on the way making it pristine. You can try doing skiing and sled rides here.
