Surya Kund

Surya Kund, located on the west side of the Vishnupad temple, is one of the most prominent tourist attractions of Gaya. It is a pond and according to a popular belief, it is said that a holy dip in this pond sets a person free from all the sins committed.

The destination is flocked by tourists during the time of festivals that are organised at this place twice a year. The first festival is celebrated in the month of March and April, while the second festival is held in the month of September and October.
