Vishnupad Temple
Vishnupad temple was built in Shikhara pattern art work by the ruler of Indore named Ahilya Bai Holker in the 18th century. This temple is a most revered place for the disciples of Lord Vishnu. Millions of pilgrims visit temple to see the fascinating sculpturing and architectural art work.
Surya Kund
Located at the western part of revered Vishnupad temple, Surya Kund is a main spot of tourists’ attraction in Gaya. It is a conviction that one can get rid of his sins if dips in this holy kund due to which during festive time in March-April and September-October, millions of devotees arrive here. On Chhath puja, people perform worship of God Sun and take a dip in this sacred Surya Kund.
Phalgu River Ghats
There are currently 11 ghats along the bank of Phalgu River which are reckoned as sanctified places for the Hindus. These ghats are considered ideal for performing traditional activities, rituals, bathing and inherited rites.
Pretshila Hill
Pretshila Hill is one of the most sacred sites for Hindus that is situated at North-West position of Gaya. This place is used in Hindu religion for offering Pindas to ancestors. Jama Masjid
