St. Stephen's Orthodox Church is a piece of the Indian Orthodox Church established by Saint Thomas, one of the pupils of Jesus Christ, in AD 52 at Malabar, a waterfront territory in India. In 1959, a couple of Orthodox Church devotees relocated from the territory of Kerala and began the Orthodox style church. The congregation has developed in quality from that point forward and has now around 150 families as individuals. The congregation commended its Golden Jubilee on 24 September 2009. Its present vicar is Rev.Fr.Cyril Varghese Vadakkadath. The congregation has a place with the Bangalore Diocese whose metropolitan is H.G. Dr. Abraham Mar Seraphim.
