It is a South Indian Hindu sanctuary arranged on the Simhachalam slope, which is 800 meters over the ocean level at a separation of ten miles toward the north of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is devoted to one of the Hindu trinity divinities Vishnu, who is loved there as Varaha Narasimha. According to the sanctuary's legend which is isolated into 32 sections, Vishnu showed in this particular shape, with a hog head, human middle and a lion's tail, subsequent to sparing his aficionado Prahlada from a murder endeavor by the last's dad Hiranyakashipu. The symbol of Varaha Narasimha is secured with sandalwood glue consistently, which influences it to look like a Shiva Lingam.
