About Sherbling Monastery

With an officially vast number of religious communities in the district, the Sherbling Monastery in Palampur is mainstream for its enormous statue of the Buddha. The fantastic stupas amidst the green timberlands make for an amazing and peaceful sight. Another part of the religious community that makes it especially well known is that it is the blessed homestead Tai Siti Rimpoche, an amazingly regarded figure in the Buddhist group.

When you go there, you should endeavor to go to the darshan between 2 pm to 4 pm consistently, when the head priest tends to the group of onlookers with his blessed sermons. The cloister is frequented by Buddhist pioneers and in addition travelers searching for peace and comfort in the mountains.
