Sabarmati Ashram is a historicall place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.This was one of the homes of Mahatma Gandhi who lived there for around twelve years alongside his significant other Kasturba Gandhi. It was from his base here that Gandhi drove the Dandi walk otherwise called the Salt Satyagraha on 12 March 1930. In acknowledgment of the huge impact that this walk had on the Indian autonomy development the Indian government has set up the ashram as a national monument. The Sabarmati ashram gets around 700,000 guests per year whose requirements must be taken care of. It stays open for guests each day of the year from 8.00am to 7.00.pm.Collecting, preparing, safeguarding and showing authentic materials, for example, compositions, photos, works of art, voice-records, movies and belongings.
