This European mansion like structure is around one hundred five years of age and is named after its unique proprietor, Dwarakanath Roy. He was the sibling of Mr. pk. Roy, the primary ever Principal of the Presidency College. Well known researcher and botanist Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose took this premises on lease from his companion, Dwarakanath Roy because of its climate and vibe in summer.
