Ropar

Rupnagar or Ropar is a city and a metropolitan committee in Rupnagar area in the Indian state of Punjab. Rupnagar is a recently made fifth Divisional Headquarters of Punjab involving Rupnagar, Mohali, and its abutting regions. It is likewise one of the greater destinations having a place with the Indus Valley Civilization. Rupnagar is about 50 km 31 mi toward the northwest of Chandigarh the closest air terminal and the capital of Punjab.
