Polichalur

Polichalur is a census town in Chennai metropolitan city in the Indian province of Tamil Nadu. It is a suburb of Chennai and is found near the Chennai Airport at Tirusulam on its south west side. It lies on the south banks of the Adyar River. Agasteeswarar Temple, which is called North Thirunallaru, is arranged there. Polichalur Punitha Arokia Annai celebration is praised each year from 29 August to 8 September. On 29 August a banner raising function denotes the start of the celebration.
