Open Air Museum

The Open Air Museum is located in the town of Badami in Karnataka. The museum is of archeological importance and is discovered in the year 1979. The museum is composed of galleries of iety.

The galleries mainly exhibit those of sculptures of Hindu god and goddess like Shiva, Vishnu and many more and panels from Bhagavata. The museum exists many caves displaying stones of prehistoric elements and inscriptions of ied form and structure.  The masterpiece collection of here is the Makara Torana , Lajja Gouri Bhairavi, Kalarimurthy etc. the place is very enchanting and certainly captivates the mind of an individual to the ancient era.
