About Norbulingka Monastery

At a separation of 7.5 km from Dharamshala Bus Station and 12 km from McLeod Ganj Bus Stand, Norbulingka Institute is an instructive and preparing organization arranged at Dharamshala in Kangra area of Himachal Pradesh.

Norbulingka Institute was established in 1988 for saving Tibetan culture, writing and craftsmanship. It was set up by Dalai Lama and is named after Norbulingka, the late spring living arrangement of the Dalai Lamas in Lhasa, Tibet.

It has been worked in customary Tibetan style situated in the midst of greenery enclosures and lakes. The primary segments of the establishment are the Academy of Tibetan Culture, Literary and Cultural Research Center and in addition the Center of the Arts.
