About Norbugang Coronation Throne

Norbugang Coronation Throne is situated in Yuksom. It signifies the place where crowning of the first Chogyal king Phuntsog took place. a wall like structure was erected named as Norbugang chorten. The site has the footprint of three Lamas. We can also witness the footprints of one of the three lamas. A rare collection of lot of indigenous trees and plants is in this beautiful garden around this site.It is a hub of Buddhist pilgrims. Norbugang Coronation Throne is about 20 minutes walk from the main Yuksom Market.One can reach their by sharing taxi,Jeep or Bus. We also can hire Private taxis if we wants to explore the beauty of the nearby destinations on our own. The weather is quite pleasant during the months from March to May so this can be considered as the best time to visit the Coronation Throne of Norbugang.So,one should visit this place once in lime time its worth paying.
