About Musamman Burj

Musamman Burj also referred to as the Saman Burj or the Shah-burj, is an octagonal tower status close to the Shah Jahan's non-public hall Diwan-e-Khas in Agra Fort.Musamman Burj was constructed via Shah Jahan for his cherished wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is stated that at the start a small marble palace constructed by way of Akbar was located at this web page, which become later demolished through Jehangir to erect new homes.

Shah Jahan in his turn selected this web page to erect the multi-storied marble tower inlaid with treasured stones for Mumtaz Mahal.
