Mount Thuiller is the highest point in The Nicobar Island located in the Indian Ocean and bordering the Andaman Sea. The mount is located on the island of Great Nicobar, measuring six hundred and forty-two meter above mean sea level, rising to about two thousand and one hundred and six feet. The area is densely forested with coconut and betel nut, palms, mango and beefwood.
Geologically, it features the intrusive igneous rock formations, such as gabbro, combined with metamorphic minerals such as serpentine. The hill is thought to have arisen due to tectonic activity in the region. The place is the inhabitant of extensive greenery and evergreen forest. One has to travel or explore the area either by trekking or by campaigning. It is one of the best spot in the Car Nicobar Island throwing the massive richness of the flora. The place dazzles with its pleasant atmosphere and cool sea breeze, a refreshing package for every individual.
