In 1585 whilst Raja Savai Mana Singh made his palace and ghat this is called after him. This ghat is "acknowledged basically for the incredible building with exceptional, ornately carved window carvings". On the top of the floor is a Hindu Observatory built by Savi Ji Singh-11 the opposite locations in which he set up such observatories are Jaipur, Delhi, Mathura and Ujjain.
