Mal

Malbazar, otherwise called Mal, is a sub-divisional town, a region in Jalpaiguri area, in West Bengal, India. It lies around 65 km from Jalpaiguri and 55 km from Siliguri. Before 1947 Malbazar was a little place, for the most part known for its tea plants for the most part possessed by British individuals. Shri Bipin bihari Bondhopadhy set up Subhasini Balika Vidyalay in the 1950s. The administration Mal Grahmin Hospital was set up. Biswas contributed a ton as the main dental specialist of Malbazar. Nath Choudhury had helped the displaced people get settled. Before long, the police headquarters was moved to Malbazar from close-by Kranti.
