About Madina Mosque

The Madina Mosque is a mosque situated at Shillong in Meghalaya State of India. It took one and a half years to complete the only glass mosque in India and the biggest one within the northeastern place. Madina Masjid, an imposing and resplendent shape of glass dome and glass minarets. Madina mosque is the rare architectural marvel in India because it has an putting and glittering structure of glass. With its 121 toes peak and 61 feet width, this surprises one and excited about being the best Green mosque after the blue mosque of Istanbul.
The 4 storied structure of the religious region also has an orphanage, a library, and an Islamic theological institute. The mosque and the adjoining Idgah should provide space for 8000 people for an assembly or prayer. The highest range of human beings, who contributed to the construction of mosque, changed into Hindus. The Mosque also has a big garden with several flowers. Over the years, it has received growing significance within the international as a center for Islamic study and spiritual middle.
