Lighthouse Minicoy

The serene Minicoy islands feature a beautiful Lighthouse which is a major attraction. It was built in 1885 by the Britishers and has a British feel to it. It is also known as South side Lighthouse in Lakshadweep. 

The most amazing thing about the Lighthouse is that one can get the view of Virgin island, Lakshdaweep Islands and Arabian Sea from the top of the tower. The Lighthouse is surrounded by white Sands and coconut palms. It stands tall at a height of 300 feet and one cannot miss the views from the Lighthouse when in Minicoy. It is must visit when you are planning a trip to Minicoy islands. Foreign nationals are not allowed to visit the island.
