About Koulas Fort
Koulas Fort is arranged close Koulas town in Nizamabad region. Koulas Fort is a gigantic stronghold going back to the fourteenth century, spread crosswise over 6 sq km and situated in Jukkal mandal near Bidar - Nanded street. This stronghold was worked by Kakatiya rulers. This stronghold was vanquished by Muslim rulers Bahamanis, Qutb Shahis and later involved by the Nizams. The post is spread crosswise over 400 sections of land encompassed by substantial stronghold divider with solid bastions.
The fortification houses a few brilliantly fabricated passages, structures, sanctuaries, mosques and different structures. There are around 20 huge guns spread over the stronghold. It has 52 little and enormous bastions along a few water tanks. The post sanctuary and dargah were proclaimed as secured landmarks by the Archeology Department.
