Kalsubai

The highest peak of the Sahayadri Ranges, Mt Kalsubai is a popular trekking spot in Bhandardara. The view of the majestic mountain is the best part about the trek. It is also known as the Mount Everest of Maharashtra because it the highest peak in the state.

It is a tricky and tough trek and not ideal for beginners. However, there are man made stairs now to reach the top of the mountain for the non trekkers. Hills near Kalsubai are also ideal for trekking and the terrain is relatively better.
