The Gateway of Ratnagiri is placed on the Ratnagiri Jetty, on the Mandavi Beach in Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra. This shape with a sloping roof is discovered at the pinnacle of the bay, overlooking the Arabian Sea.
The gateway of Ratnagiri is adjoined to a wall that has many bastions at close durations. The whole structure results in the Balekilla Fort, located at the north west of the Mandavi Beach. These buildings, as per legends, were the paintings of Pratinidhi Dhondu Bhaskar, for the protection of the coastline of Ratnagiri. Today, the Gateway of Ratnagiri is visited often by people who love to walk alongside the ocean shore playing the ocean breeze.
