About Dubdi Monastery

Dubdi Monastery, on the other hand known as Yuksom Monastery, is a Buddhist place of worship of the Nyingma faction of Tibetan Buddhism close Yuksom. Built up in the year 1701, amid the rule of Chogyal Namgyal, is thought to be the most seasoned religious communities in Sikkim, conveying gigantic authentic criticalness to it. The strict significance of the word 'Dubdi' is 'the withdraw' which unmistakably be seen confirming itself through its hypnotizing ridge area in the midst of the thick chestnut woodland.
