The project of the institute is to fabricate lifestyles saving immunobiologicals DPT institution of vaccines and antis technology, surveillance activities, coaching and training in the area of microbiology. Recent traits in regulatory necessities and introduction of Schedule M concept in vaccine production emphasised the want of cGMP compliant infrastructure and procedures.

Considering the need of CGMP compliance to preserve pace with advances in regulatory requirements and technological traits, CRI has been able to create CGMP compliant facility for manufacturing of DPT organization of vaccines. Creation of CGMP compliant DPT manufacturing facility has made CRI as the first Central Government Institute to have CGMP compliant infrastructure for vaccine production.
